In the fuel pump overhaul process, I had a good opportunity to look at the generator. I installed new brushes in Delco Remy 35 A p/n 1101892 Gen. The brush kit is Delco Remy 1906984 D721 kit. that was on E bay. I found that Continental has two sizes of the same Generator drive belt. The belt number is TCM 539547. The sizes are 31.19 and 30.0. The Continental O 470 parts manual says the -K uses 31.19 well that puts the generator drive adjustment at the very end. I put a new 30 inch TCM on the drive and the adjustment is now in the middle of travel. Much better on my plane set up. I think the parts book may have been swapped p/n at printing. At any rate the 30 inch works much better. Old planes verses old men. Lynn the crate
