I tried the AirGizmos and found that they did not work very effectively. I wasn't worried about damage to the fabric or finish, i just found that the locking mechanism didn't work very well and they wouldn't stay in place. I ended up removing their mechanism and replacing it with a 1/4 inch bolt and wing-nut. I wouldn't buy any. Just my opinion.
