Hardware Collection

Thoughtfully the Bellanca factory placed a hydraulic fluid catch tray underneath the powerpak in the 14-19-2 & -3 aircraft (maybe other models too). As a bonus these trays also served as a convenient storage area for extra hardware. I pulled my fuel selector valve out for overhaul and thought it would be a good time to do some clean-up in the belly cavity - sure a lot of fuel and hydraulic piping down there! Hope to post some more picture once the clean-up work is finished... Rob

I like to put the screws out of my dash in that pan whenever I am working on my panel <sarc>
It is also a good place to store any small but important item I drop while setting up an approach.

Putting dryer sheets in parts of your plane is a good way to ward off critters. Guess they don't like the smell or...? JUST REMEMBER where they are so you can pull them out!
