I've got an oleo 7GCAA without wheel fairings but have the fairing axle nut extension (wheel pants support, part #1-8790) installed. I'd like to remove the long support tube and replace with something that I can bolt a hubcap to. The Cleveland wheels on my '65 don't have the 3 tapped holes around the perimeter that I've seen as common on other AC. Has anyone with this setup found a way to put wheel covers on their pantless plane?
