The last item for my 2010 may annual is to fix a leaky and sticky fuel cutoff valve. ACA sells a replacement for the Imperial $350+ and I need to weld new mount. All mine needs is to be cleaned, lubed and a new O ring. Is there anyone that can do a repair and the necessary paper work.

I have a 1968 7ECA with the same problem. Please let me know if you find a solution to the fuel shutoff valve rebuild problem. Thanks, Lynn Coriell

I found someone on the muscateer site that said he would do the repair and paper work. I would need to join the Muscateer site to be able to comunicate with him. I was hoping that someone in the Bellanca Club could steer me to someone that will be able to do a repair.

I went to the Musketeer site saturday morning to join in order to be able to comunicate with The man able to do the repair and paper work and he died friday night. I am now working on plan B

Beech Musketeers have the Imperial fuel valve. Beech has a Servie Instruction for servicing the valve, it's SI 0364-289.
Any A&P should be able to do the lubrication and see if that will fix it without removing the valve.

Thanks Bill. I talked with my A&p I didnt understand what he wanted me to do. I ordered the gasket and O ring.

Lynn, You need to order from Aircraft Spruce (1) AN900 gasket -13 its 13/16 inside diameter copper washer and a MS29513-011 O-ring id 5/16 x od 7/16 and silicone lube

The grease called out in the Beech SB is Dow Corning Molykote FS-1292. I found it at Motion Ind. 314-770-2600, their PN is 01104455. It's not cheap, $38.90 for a tube.
I ordered one to see how it lasts. The last time I lubed the fuel valve was 7 years ago with Fuel Lube (now called EZ Turn), it started getting stiff after 3-4 years.

If you want to try the Molykote recomended by Beech, email me and I will send you a bit.

Thanks Bill, I ordered a tube of it and picked it up this morning, It cost me close to $60 its great stuff. I wrestled the valve back into the plane, works smoothly. Need a sign off and will be ready to fill the tanks and turn my pumpkin into a bird again.
