Instrument panel

Hi all,
in the last years the pre-owners of my 1970 7GCBC added and removed instruments, so now the panel looks very untidy. My Citabria has the tall panel and I want to renew it. In the web I found the low panel (aircraftspruce, wag aero) and ACA offers an upgrade for the new low panel but nowhere I can find the tall panel without holes. Has anyone an idea what I can do?
ACA is also able to offer me the new panel of the new aircraft without holes (this would be my favorite because it's a little bit taller as the one of the upgrade) but only without a drawing and paperwork. That's bad.

The instrument panel is a structural item with some very specific placement requirements in the FARs.
If you are unhappy with the stock panels and want to design your own, you are in the same boat as any other item on the airplane.
You must find a way to approve the item on your own. Some are easier than others, obviously.

I should think the blank panel made from the same material and with the same outline and mounting holes would be easy to field approve.
