I am looking at a 68 7ECA and I noticed that it appears to have a larger pannel than I typically see. Was a larger (height) pannel an option or was this probably installed later?

My 68 7ECA has the taller panel. As far as I know it was an option. Some folks prefer the lower panel. I can't say that I care one way or the other. I don't think ACA offers the tall panel on the new ones.

Thanks- I am pretty tall (6'4") so the tall option likely won't bother me. No that this aircraft needs a nice panel but at least I have the option I guess.
