Interav Alternator

I posted this on the other forum as well..
I am going to be trying to get a field approval on an InterAv Alternator conversion on my Citabria.

Anyone out there that already has one could help . I need copies of any paperwork the FAA has already signed off on for a Interav field approval.

My IA says the Feds are much more likely to approve it if they have another one already done.

Hi.... Any luck on the Alternator conversion? Let me know what you find out.... I'm going to the West Coast Fly In, I will ask someone there... Jim
 
Thanks, I wound up getting a DER to do a one time STC... Expensive.
In the mean time, I bought a new Prestolite Alternator kit for it and did not use it. It is for sale :?
 
I have just purchased a 69 7eca and it has the interav alternator installed has for atleast 12 years. when i get my logs back form the ia i will see what i can tell you
