Introduction, looking for an 8KCAB

Hello,

I'm new to the club, would like to introduce myself. I'm based at KRHV (San Jose, CA), got my ticket in 2003 in a Citabria 7ECA at then Amelia Reid Aviation, now Aerodynamic (http://www.aerodynamicaviation.com). Have a bit over 200 TT, 170 TW; owned a tailwheel RV-4 for a few years.

Haven't been flying in 10 years (2 kids, ages 9 and 4), now getting back into it. My wife is also a pilot, pretty much same kind of flying, including basic acro.

We're looking to acquire an 8KCAB, late-90's or early 2000's ACA model with the metal spar. If anyone knows of any - please shout, especially if it's out in the western states. Seems like all the TAP, Barnstormer, etc. planes are in the midwest or east cost.

Welcome "back to flying". There is some great information on this forum but it is pretty quiet in terms of posts for the high wing planes. I keep coming back anyway just to look through old posts and learn as much as I can without asking questions that have already been answered.

If you can stand Facebook there are some more active discussions in the Citabria-Decathalon-Scout~Pilot-Owners-Enthusiasts group. I seem to recall a few planes being posted there recently, but they might have been 7KCAB models.
