My mech has run across a STC (SE7CE) which apparently must be complied with for a 7KCAB to have an IO 320 E2A engine installed. The airplane was originally manufactured with this engine installed. We are still trying to track down info on paperwork and what actually needs or not needs to be done on the plane. We have even heard rumors of an electric oil pump that does not even exist today. If anyone can provide some enlightment, it would be most valuable. I suspect that there were many of these planes built with the same airframe/engine combination.
