Larger Tires for 7GCAA

I want to put 7 or 8.00x6 tires on my 98 GCAA. I've been told on good authority that for the 8.00's, I need a spacer to avoid rubbing the tire on the brake caliper, and possibly longer wheel bolts. Any thoughts? Thanks
 
If you need a spacers they are like 13 dollars each through bushwacker and longer bolts are cheap, but I doubt you will need them. I have like every tire approved on my plane up to 31" on my 7GCBC.
 
Thanks for the info. I'll order some 8.00x6 and give it a go. From what I've been told the 8.5's won't work w/o a new wheel assembly.
