Long hard day! I wrestled the Citabria from OKC to Glendale Arizona today (15 June 2012). 9.2 hours of flying time. The turbulence was brutal. Fuel stops at Tucumcari and Gallup New Mexico. Winds were 12 gust to 20. Mostly down the down the runway. Tucumcari was the worst. Thankfully Glendale was variable at 5. Fuel burn average for the trip, 7.6 GPH. Not bad.
