low oil pressure on my new overhauled AEIO320

I have a newly overhauled AEIO320 in my 1975 8KCAB. Lycoming and my mechanic said 55 Lbs. is enough to run and fly. Have 4 washers on the spring. American Champion said 80 to 90 Lbs. is needed or don't fly. Working on raising oil pressure to 80 Lbs. with a new spring from Lycoming. So who's right? Lycoming or American Champion?

On my 1973 O-320 powered Citabria, I get 70-90 lbs. of oil pressure. This has been the case through an overhaul and a recent top.

Oil pressure should be 90-60 as I recall.
I would not fly even at 60 or 65. There are several different springs you can use in the Lyc parts book.
