OK, so we know about the AD on the wood spars so that one gets mentioned automatically. What else though? Say your only choice for a pre-buy is a mechanic that isn't familiar with the type or you have to go it alone, what are the top points around the airframe and engine compartment where problems will be found?

But what else? Fuselage wood former attach points? Fuel tank leaks? Cracks at spring gear attach points?
