My Citabria Air Filter

I have a 1965 Citabria 7 GCA. The air filter which is shown in the parts manual is nothing like the air filter on my aircraft.
Mine fits in horizontally and is held in place by pressed plate with two screws which screws into the cowl.
I have been through the Spruce Catalogue and the closest I find, which appears to be the same as mine, is part number 2904.
Does any one happen to know what the part number would be if ordered from ACA
All help will be greatly appreciated

The filter you're describing is the old paper element that most folks replace with a Brackett foam filter. For many years I used an air filter that was identical in size and shape, but was for some six cylinder Ford product. I eventually got a Brackett, like everybody else. Brackett's part number for the assembly is BA-106, and the element that you replace thereafter is BA-11. I'd be surprised if ACA had the original paper filters, as they don't really support the old planes.
