As I have been repainting inspection covers, peto tube I am finding part of the N number on all my parts, stamped or penciled on them, Where these all built one at a time? Or is this how they kept track of each part for each plane as being built?

Not done at the factory. Someone did this in the past when rebuilding/recovering.
Bellanca did put a p/n or acceptance stamp on most of the parts THEY built.

Dan, I noticed today the peto tube was stamped with it also, looked at the parts plane and It was stamped with it's N number? Always finding something new and interesting, like looking into an old clock, they will have repairers name and date in them. Thanks.
