Need more ventilation

I have reiently purchased a 73 8KCAB. The aircraft was equiped with the traditional totaing side vents in the the leg area and a single window vent located on the left front window. This has an opening area of maybe 1 sq. in., not enough fresh air. I installed a snap vent in my M4 maule, it workd great. Does anyone see any reason why the same vent cannot be installed into the decathlon? The window seems to have more of a curve to the surface, I am questioning availabel flat space. Has anyone installed a snap vent? What is currently used?

This is a great question. I took a couple of toilet paper cores and some fiberglas and made a tube to go from the right wing inlet to a place where it is aimed at my nose (after eight slow rolls I needs air). What I need now is a way to shut it off and on without spending five hundred bucks for one of those eyeball vents.
