No Bounce Gear Information

I have looked through the past posts and have contacted ACA. I found very little about servicing, specifications and repair/ rebuild of the early Citabria No Bounce gear.

A saw a couple pages back a reference to an addendum to a manual related to the no bounce gear, but no real details what includes.

Is anyone familiar with this addendum, or have documentation (with photos would be great) on working with these landing gear? I think mine are riding too low, but don't know where they should ride. It also rides pretty rough on grass fields.

My Aeronca oleo gear experience is on 7ACs so I can't provide info on no-bounce gear but a patient google search should get results I remember finding an excellent site with detailed instructions and photos.

Tom, I found a real nice site for the Champ gear, but not the no bounce.
So far my Google search hasn't revealed much. The most detailed info I found is a couple pages back in this forum, but having a little more detail would be nice.

I received the 7ECA manual I ordered from this site, and it wasn't much more help.

Does anyone have any photos, or details on exactly how to check the oil level in the struts? Do the struts have to be removed?

Any help will be appreciated.
