O-435-A model change

Hello all

Does anyone have any experience with doing a model change from a O-435-A to a O-435-A2?

Thanks
Ben

Ok why Dan?

Seems like only a piston change and making it a 90 octane engine. Can only get 100 anyway. Lycoming allows model number changes. I am obviously missing something.

Thanks

For those following this topic:
1.There is more involved than a piston change.
2.It is impossible to get exhaust guides to last more than 50 hours without roller rockers.
3.The engine turns 3000 rpm, the propeller goes sonic at about 2800. Performance decreases above
2850 rpm.
4. You will now have the noisiest airplane on the airport. T6s run for cover. You will piss everyone off within a 5 mile radius.
5. Been there...done it...don't waste your time and $$$.
