O320-A1A installed on 7GCAA - Need Help

I just learned I have a O320-A1A installed on a 1967 7GCAA. Looking for some help in locating an example of a Field Approval, STC, or 337 of such an engine installed on a 7GCAA or 7GCBC. Hoping an example of something existing will smooth with getting an approval of some sort, as we think we need to use a DER.

Or

Is it possible to convert the -A1A to a -A2B? Would this be more complicated?

We call American Champion and were not aware of an example of the -A1A on a 7GCAA

I would convert to A1B, Lyc says "A1B is "Same as A1A with straight riser in oil sump and -32 carburetor ".
AC 1435 and AC 1098G explain hoe to convert engine to different - numbers.

Sorry, SI 1435 and 1098G do not apply, they are for concerting to Fixed pitch prop.
Just convert the engine, stamp "C" at the end of the model number on the engine data plate, (indicating a change), file a 337 for the major engine alteration.

Thank you for the advice. I think we are now on our way to getting it all cleared up. And we are still waiting for a new exhaust stack, so the paperwork is not yet holding us up on getting back in the air.
