The original Stewart Warner oil temperature gauge in my decathlon recently broke, leaking the gas out of the capillary tube for the sender. Does anyone know of an (approved) replacement or repair source?
There is one on ebay, item #152936187875, Bellanca used automotive gauges that fit 2 1/16" hole. Aviation gauges are generally for 2 1/4" hole.
So the ACA gauge may not fit if ACA uses aircraft gauges.
Thank you Bill, you confirmed what I suspected about the automotive gauges. I found and bought one on eBay that was identical to the one removed. Always appreciate the knowledge on this forum.
