Overheating Bodell Brake

Has anyone out there in Bellancaland had a problem with overheating Bodell Brakes? One of mine is getting very hot, even just from taxiing. I'm positive that I'm not riding the brake, yet, logically, it must be dragging, not enough to make pushing the airplane difficult mind you, just to get the brake hot as I taxi the airplane to the runway threshold.

If you've had this problem, please chime in. What did you do to fix it?

Thanks.

Do you have the manual for the brakes? The clearance is adjusted by bending four spring clips to increase or decrease the clearance. I can copy what I have and send it to you. I didn't know anything about the Firestone/Adams/Bodell brakes until about 18 months ago, when I 'adopted' the 14-12 that I have, that came with them. Dan

No, Dan, I don't have the manual. A copy would be nice. Thanks. My e-mail is xodix-at-juno-dot-com. If you need my mailing address, please e-mail.

Best regards,

Mike
