Powerpak Neutral Kickback

To my 14-19-2 & -3 friends, a question about the Electrol 750 powerpak behavior. The design calls for the gear lever to pop back to the neutral position after the pressure build-up for either gear-up or gear-down. My question: is the flap control also supposed to return to neutral just like the gear lever? I can’t find any reference to this in the POH.

Mine never has done this. Once in a while after takeoff with flaps, I'll see hydraulic pressure, reminding me that I haven't returned the lever to neutral after flap retraction.

The crate kicks back only in the gear position. The flaps have no kick back. Lynn
