Hi everyone...I have recently purchased a 65 7eca with an 0200 and a 6948 prop....I live on a private strip which is 2600ft ...power lines at one end and trees at the other.....Also my bird holds 39gal of fuel......Flying solo I get in and out no problem.....add a buddy half tanks or more hot humid temps..well you get the picture.....The obvious solution is an engine upgrade but my question is would a prop twist be worth a try and legal......Univar lists a 0200 Citabria seaplane prop.....6944......How much would I gain in climb.....How much would I lose in cruise.....The 0200 only produces 100hp @ 2750.....I only turn 2450 on t/o at 65mph climb......At full throttle in level flight it turns 2600rpms.....Tach is rebuilt......Any coments on this would be greatly appreciated

You need to find the static RPM limits in the TCDs (on the FAA website). Then check your airplane at near a standard day , then you can see if you could use less pitch.
