propeller corrosion

I have some corrosion on my propeller which I have removed with a scotchbrite wheel. In the past I have used alumaprep and alodine treatment prior to painting. Is there anything new or better to use as a treatment prior to painting?

Now that it is clean of corrosion, I think you could use one of the spray cans of self etching primers now available. I have not tried it but that' what I would try.
