Questions about buying a citabria

Hi everyone- I'm new to the site. I joined because I am interested in purchasing a citabria to learn aerobatics. I have been looking around but have noticed many different models and variations. My first question is: which one is best for my mission? Also, what issues are there when looking at these planes? What should I look for? What should I avoid? What can I expect to pay for this thing?

Any and as much information as possible would be appreciated. I am just getting started with this new phase of my aviation "career" and am trying to learn as much as possible before taking the plunge.

Thanks for the reply- however, I guess I should clarify one thing: I am looking for an older, used plane- not a new one.

The link above pointed to various models, it shows that there are several models for limited aerobatics, if you want aerobatics!! then the (Super) Decathlon is the one. Same spread in $$ for used 30-40
