Remote Oil Filter 8KCAB

Hi everyone, anyone have any preferences for a remote oil filter for a Bellanca 8KCAB with the standard IO320-E1B. Been looking at the air wolf filters but would appreciate some experienced advice and what people have actually fitted with success.
 
Previous owner had installed an Air Wolfe on my 8KCAB. It was mounted on lower left firewall. I am happy with it as it makes for easy no mess filter changes. I punch a hole in the bottom of the filter to drain it before removing.

The B&C type are less expensive and look to be easier to install. However I do not know how you deal with the potential mess when changing filters. Hopefully someone that has one actual experience will comment.

Regardless of type, I think an oil filter is a good piece of equipment to add. The ability to examine the oil filter at each oil change looking for metal etc.. Provides me added confidence in the health of my engine.

I agree, a wise investment for the longevity of your engine. I wanted to know if anyone had fitted a B&C type to the 8KCAB as I didn't know of it would fit with all the hoses back there!!
 
I put the B&C on my 8KCAB, it fits fine. The advantage is you do not add more hoses to an engine that has too many already.
You can change the filter with no mess, I poke a hole in the highest part of the filter, come back latter and all the oil that was in the filter has drained back into the engine, no mess.
