I am working on converting my 65 7ECA from generator to alternator. Since the alternator puts out 50 amps, I need to replace the 30 amp ammeter. The current ammeter is a Stewart Warner. Does anyone have the requirements for a replacement? Univair carries what looks identical in 60 amp, but it is not TSO'd. Is that required for an ammeter?
