RH Muffler Removal

Is it possible to remove the RH muffler without removing the intake manifold? Things look pretty tight up there.

Yes you can......
Take one of your 1/4" drive sockets of the appropriate size...one that you don't treasure and grind the circumference to about .050" thickness. That and a long extension will do the job.

That’s how I got mine off. Spray the threads with PB Blaster or the brass nut will stick to the stud and…

Thanks for the help. I got the old muffer off and the new one in place. Sure is a pain to work on the underside of the Franklin!
