Scout Performance Help

I am picking up a 8GCBC Scout that is on Whipline 2100 amphibs and flying it from NY to MN. Anyone have any idea what a cruise power should be and what speed I can expect for flight planning?
Thanks!

You don't say what engine it has, 150/180/210HP. in any case I would think 24/24 or 25/25 for a power setting, rather typical on Lycomings. As for cruise speed can't you get info from the owner? If not maybe a call to ACA and ask for Dale Gauger, American Champion Aircraft's test pilot, he should know. ACA 262-534-6315.

Sorry for the late reply. I always conservatively calculate with my Scout 100 mph and 10 gph cross country. Fuel is cheap insurance. No wind situations and 24/24 I gps show 125 mph.
