Seattle or Illinois mechanics

Hi all -

I'm in the middle of considering a career change that would require relocating. I lucked into finding a mechanic I liked who knew something about Vikings (and was willing to learn about 14-19-3s) in New Mexico, but am concerned about what I might find elsewhere. Anyone have any good experiences with Cruisemaster mechanics in either the Seattle or Urbana/Champaign areas? I prefer someone who's happy with owner assist, but am a bit flexible.

I've just started looking around, so anyone have strong opinions on where to hangar if I end up in either the Seattle or Urbana/Champaign areas?

If you end up in Illinois, you are only a couple of hours from Alexandria, MN and Webers.
