Can anyone recommend the best type of skis for a 7eca. I am wondering about straight skis and wheel skis?

Thanks!

Hi Stanley, here's a place to start: Aero Ski Manufacturing Co. Inc. 260th St. Municipal Airport Brooten, MN. 56316
Phone 320-346-2285, Troy is the owner and a really nice guy. They build straight and I think he now has a wheel penetrating model. Their M-2000 would be the size you would need for your plane, or if looking for used then Federal 2000's would be about right, also there is a company in Wis. that builds ski's its Name is Trickair http://www.trickair.com/
Hope this helps

I have a set of Landes 2500 ski's on my Citabria. http://www.airglas.com/ I bought them used, I got a deal. Got lucky I guess. They work great.

I run Aero skis R2800 wheel ski on my 7GCAA and they work real well. However i think on a 7eca they would be to heavy and your performance wouldn't be ideal. I'd go with straight skis if you can, light and inexpensive.
