Slack in the front control stick

As I have gotten more used to flying my 73 8KCAB I noticed that there is slack in the control stick where it attaches at the bottom, where the bolt goes thru. I tighten the bolt a little but it seems that the stick or the mount is worn out . Is there a bushing or a fix for this problem? It is kind of scary feeling when you move the stick and it pops or feels loose at the bottom attachment point.
Thanks Tim

Tim,
The usual cause of a loose stick is the Stick Socket part number 2-075 where it pivots on the Torque Tube. The stick socket is cast aluminum with a steel bushing in it, problem is the hole for the bushing wears. Not too hard to replace except you need to remove the floor board. Will need an A&P.
Order parts from American Champion Aircraft.
