Had an interesting conversation with an old school mechanic today. short story is he says even though the 7eca (1968 champion model) is approved for snaps, not to do them as the spars in the eca will just not tolerate them. he claims the lack of a rib where the fuel tank is located will eventually lead to an attachment failure. i guess i don't have the necessary knowledge to aurgue, but i do love snaps. any comments from you all? Jerry, any advice you can throw out there would be great!
