Spinner replacement

Next up on my "things that bug me" list is the backing plate for my spinner. It's been drilled, re-drilled, then drilled again and now looks like Swiss cheese. It's missing all but 3 nut plates and was held on using nyloc nuts epoxied in place... no thanks. I was going to replace or weld up the back-plate and purchase new nut plates until I went onto Aircraft Spruce and noted the price, $370 for 20 pcs. ?!!! I can buy a new spinner and back-plate complete for less.
Anyone have any experience using something other than a stock spinner with the Aeromatic prop or does anyone (Grant) have p/n 9954-2A?

Cheers,
Andy
