Strobe lights for legal night VFR

does one strobe on the belly make a plane legal for Night flight?
My rudder has a position light, and my top verticle post had one of the cute but pudgy white lights as well, so I bought a red flasher to mount there, but it looks a bit incongruous with the Bellanca's art deco look. I could put a light pn the belly but don't know if this is enough strobe to be legal???? thanks Ken
