So, I am finally getting some Super Soundproofing on my boot cowl/firewall to replace the horrible original foam on my 1993 Super Decathlon. Of course, to do this, it has to be cut in a few places which leaves seams. I understand there is "super soundproofing tape". Does anybody have experience with this--especially wondering does it deteriorate after a few years?
