Tail Wheel Shimmy

on the Yahoo Citabria site, and figured I'd post here also. This leaf spring angle "mod" fixed an annoying tail wheel shimmy issue on a near-new Citabria Adventure where I live in Santa Fe and is being applied to my near-new 7GCBC this week.

The link was discovered by Pat Horgan, former GM at WACO and now GM of the maintenace operation at Santa Fe, called Santa Fe Aero Services.

I'll let you know how it works on my plane. I also sent the link to ACA is Wisconsin for thier consideration.

i resently replaced my tailwheel on my 7eca with a 6 ply wheel (normally 4ply) and haven t had shimmy problems since.

I believe Desser has them..depending on the size.
