Tapes

Does anyone out there have tapes on there horizantal stab to the fusaloge Like the wings do? I am sealling my wings to the fusaloge with tapes and I can't seam to find anything about the horizantal :lol: :lol:
 
Randy, my 14-19-2 has horizonal tapes on the stab and wing top side only. The tapes on the stab work well in sealing the structure from rain or dew (Oshkosh). Lynn N9818B the crate :p
 
My horizontal is sealed to the fuselage by tapes as are my wings.
 
Thanks all. I taped the wings this weekend and am going to do the tail today. I will let you all know if it really made a difference or not. I should know by this weekend. :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
I made a short trip Sat. 8o miles I really did not see a differance at low altitude (700 msl) . At 4500 It my indicate about 4 or 5 mph faster it was hard to say. I did notice that it did not porpose like it did before. I am going to try a little longer trip next week if the weather holds. I need to run to Denver. That should tell me. Let you'all know later. Love that bird :lol: :lol:
