I want to thank Robert Szego and Dan Cullman in helping me with prints and other info for getting my Airworthy Certificate back from FAA on 86802, what a can of worms can happen with an older aircraft when not documented correctly. Thanks again, Joe Bell, I hope to finally get to fly it this weekend and four and half years of work.

Persistence pays.
As a reminder to all new owners of any airplane, do your homework and ask for assistance before contacting the FAA about "paperwork."
I once had the supervisor at the registration branch in OKC tell me that my registration [of an airplane] was "revoked" and then disconnected the phone. I had all my "ducks in a row" and proved it in the next written communication.
Two weeks later my aircraft's registration certificate came in the mail.
Dan
