The long awaited third class medical reform bill has finally been signed into law. This will likely allow tens of thousands of pilots to return to the skies – mainly those that didn’t want to jump through the bureaucratic hoops under the old system. For me – and probably for many of my Bellanca friends – this is great news. I am certainly hopeful that general aviation will experience some level of revitalization.
Classic airplanes, like our triple-tail machines, are definitely experiencing a sort of renaissance in popularity and I am hopeful that our active fleet numbers might actually start to grow. Perhaps more restoration projects (like mine) will get finished and just maybe we will see more activity on this forum! --Rob
