Thrust Line

Jerry there is a lot of work going on with Super Cubs, changing the -4 thrust line to zero with claims of 30% shorter take off.
What is the 8GCBC thrust line? Any comments on what playing with thrust line on the Scout may or may not do?

For a 4 degree change...30%??
They must have gotten marketing tips from Aviat. :roll:

You are talking about getting 1 / cos (4 deg) extra thrust in the direction you want. Thats less than 1%. Besides, that changes the level flight characteristics.

They pointing the prop up like its some sort of helocopter? if so...they need a bigger prop. Just make it into one and you can get a 100% reduction...hehe

Honestly, the two 'GCBC's" will be getting some love, after we give birth to the 7EC. (feels like giving birth anyway).
