hey guys. i am new to the forum and looking for some help buying a 1973 Citabria 7GCAA. it is owned by a family friend and offered to me at a greatly discounted price based on its market value. the market value is what i am trying to determine accurately. i know that it is only worth what someone will pay, but i am just trying to find fair value if i were to try and sell it for them instead of buy it myself. i am a corporate pilot, but have limited experience and knowledge of citabrias. here are the stats, any help is much appreciated:
1973 Citabria 7GCAA, IO-320 Lycoming, 150 hp, TTAF: 2888, 1071 SMOH, new upholstery in 2002 (8/10), older paint but in good shape, oct. '07 annual, always hangared, all logs, KX175B nav/com, Narco mode C transponder, new intercom. only damage history is a bird strike to the leading edge of the left wing which has been repaired.
