Yes, I have. Since Vikings and their predecessors were made in such small numbers, however, it's not commercially feasible to STC them. I am hoping to find someone who's gone the 337 Field Approval route.
 
Have you asked anyone what sort of information the FAA would require for a VG mod. Anything that changes aerodynamic characteristics might be complex.

I've come across some websites that claim that VG's can be used to increase top speed by decreasing airflow pressure points. Is your intention to decease stall speeds, or increase top speed?
 
The more the merrier, I'd say. Improving STOL and climb would be the primary goals, but anything else would be welcome, too.
