Hi, I'm new to this board, and an owner of a 74 KCAB for about 6 months. After much searching on the web, I've almost convinced myself the original W&B sheet for my 7KCAB is incorrect, and therefore all the calculated mods to the aircraft have me at an incorrect c.g.
In general, I've found that 70's GCAA/KCAB's have CG's listed as 12-ish, and ECA's have CG's listed as 10.7-11ish. But MY KCAB is listed at 10.8.
I may need to have an A&P weigh and measure my real C.G. But until then, anyone care to publish your empty C.G. numbers for your
Citabria's, to include aircraft type and year? Or ask another way,
anyone else with a 74ish GCAA/KCAB with a CG listed in the high 10's or low 11's?
