I have a WWII US Navy Waltham 24 hour clock (Mdl CDIA) I'm installing in the panel. Only trouble is it gains about 1 minute every 24 hours. Anyone know where the speed adjustment is?

Dave:

Contact Robert Steuber in Grass Valley, CA steubers@theunion.net and tell him I sent you. He repairs antique clocks and watches and may be able to help.

These clocks are nice, but not original in any Bellanca. Use the A-11 style. They are smaller, lighter and just as accurate as the large format clocks. Dan

I've had it many years. I'm also using it in honor of my Dad who served aboard a "bird farm" during the Korean War, so in it goes! 'Sides- I already have the hole cut.
Dang weather... :?

Thanks Greg!
Instrument panel is now finished except for lighting. I have a few eyebrow lights (4), but am thinking about a fiber optic setup if I can get my I.A.s blessing.

I ma installing some of the NU Lights in a Stinson right now they are FAA PMA parts and are undetectable from any angle. The whole pane full uses less energy than one of the old bulbs.. Greg

try this guy....http://www.historictimekeepers.com/37500.htm

I have a 37500 that I took out of my 14-19-3. I never did wind it up because I didn`t want to break anything. I wish I knew if it was worth anything....... John L

Look under 'aircraft clocks' on ebay. The the wind up 8 day clocks are generally worth fixing. The electric ones are not. Generally, $100.00-150.00 to clean and lube. Parts are extra. Never, ever overwind the clocks........I've been sending my clocks to "The TickTock" clock shop in Colorado Springs, CO. They'll even make parts you can't buy. Either that or the shop in Grass Valley,CA. that Robert mentioned. Dan
