I had a Weldon pump problem several years ago. It was noisy and would blow the fuse . Turned out to be the bearing between the pump and motor. 20 bucks from NTN bearings and really easy to change Its been perfect ever since. (over 600 hrs)!
I'm not positive but I think AM CHAMP uses a differnt pump as Weldon is no longer around.
