Greetings, the C206 has been sold and I found this aircraft close to home. Any comments from the experts? I haven't gone to look at it but it seems like a pretty good machine from the pictures and description. I've asked for detail on the nav/com, pictures of interior and AD compliance. Thanks, GDS

1974 7GCBC, 150HP, 1800 TTAF, 300 SMOH, metal spars, new seat covers, very basic but good avionics. asking $46,000.
I had a pre-buy done at a shop that knows the airplane in Santa Paula CA. It has some cracked wooden formers and the fuselage fabric has a lot of patches. It is totally flyable and airworthy, but it's showing it's age a little. looks great at 50'. The wing fabric was done when the metal spars were installed and look pretty good. I did not buy it, I don't think I would be satisfied with the fabric/finish after a couple of months. My local mech suggested finding one with perfect fabric and a run out engine if I'm going to have to work on it. I'm still looking, although I'm still considering this aircraft with the idea of recovering the fuselage. I've never done it, but am pretty handy and have an active local group of homebuilders with experience.
