What's wrong with me anyway?

Here I have my very own AIRPLANE! I have a lovely, supportive wife! My health's good, and I'm not hungry so why isn't rebuilding NC74392 any fun right now? I just spent 2 hours trying to make a brass jumper bar for my master switch- something that should have taken about 30 seconds :? Wires? PHOOEY!

*&$*%@ anyway- this is supposed to be FUN- not feel like I'm at work!
Why can't I just relax and have FUN with this thing?!? :?:

This is one of those days when I just feel like kicking the dog and cats, cutting the fuselage in half, setting the wings on fire, throwing a brick through a plate glass window- you get the idea...

Even calling Trade-a-Plane appeals

Double D you must feel like me Winter is back in this hole called Western Pa. Field of Mud, all bad dreams! the sky turns blue----because now we have winds gusting to 40 mph. Some Place Special BS. So you are not alone singing Bellanca Blues! LYNN N9818B the crate

Lynn, you really saved me alot of trouble with the wire diagrams for the avionics. Don't hesitate to ask if I can help with something :D

Dear Dave:

All these frustrations will be forgotten on the test flight. Just persevere, take a little time off, come back after a little s*x and it'll seem right again real soon.

I, for one, am really looking forward to seeing your bird take flight; might even ask for a ride...

We were supposed to be on our way to find a beach for a couple of days before the craziness of SNF, but the gentle Spring breezes (gusting to 38 kts.) are keeping us grounded today, after about 48 straight hours of heavy rain and flooding. Delay may not allow us to visit with you this trip, but I keep hoping for a monster tailwind to make up the time ;-)

Keep at 'em, Dave.

You're always welcome- no reason needed!

Yeah- maybe I need to take a break or at least try something else on NC74392

I know the feeling. This time of year, it might be worth considering some vitamin D to stave off the winter blues, especially if the fever intensifies to the level of an urge to axe murder one of Giuseppe Bellanca's babies. :p
About 10 dollars at Costco.
Or a Bahamas vacation for a little more. That might work, too.

Years later and 392 is still waiting. Trouble is, every time I get some bucks together for the next step, something happens to deplete that fund. This time it was insurance for an unoccupied house we're trying to sell.
Once it goes, 392 will be back on track. Very anxious to get started again- it sounds like fun! :D
BTW, my vitamin D level was down to 15. Yikes! Explains a lot...

Going to be close enough to Ryan Field to say hi to Bill at MobilAire? His office is under the shade hangers closest to the restaurant on field. He watched over N6575N for ten years before I hauled her to Oregon.
