The wheel pants fit well, I leave mine on all year round and while cautious about getting slop frozen in them have found them to be the cleanest wheel pants I've ever seen. 90% of my operations are into grass strips of all flavors and I've found the pants not to be a concern. Keeping the tires properly inflated adds to ground clearance.
Keep the screws tight to reduce hole enlargement. I would also suggest adding a few extra layers of fiberglass to both inboard and outboard attachment locations, as well as the lower edges where contact with rocks, etc. will cause some cracking over time. Be advised that adding too much reinforcement will reduce flexibility and make installation just slightly more difficult.
The ACA installation uses rubber well nuts, these will eventually cause the holes to elongate no matter how tight the screws are, the solution is to fabricate a half-moon shaped piece of aluminum, install rivnuts, and attach it to the inside of the wheel pant with RTV as a vibration absorber, and line the inside of the metal attach plate with a thin layer of FAA-PMA'd (old inner tube) vibration damper also so that it doesn't cut into the fiberglass.
